Wells Pharmacy: Booth Instructions
While interning with Wells Pharmacy, my intern advisor was preparing for a future conference with her team based in Wellington, Florida. Unfortunately, the Florida team wasn't going to be able to make the upcoming conference due to other obligations. She feared that the Houston team would get to the conference without any direction on how to set up the booth. I suggested that we make a visual and written instructional guide so there would be no room for confusion. I ended up creating this video with my iPhone 11 and editing it together using iMovie.
Mock Movie Trailer: Raiders Of The Lost Ark
During my time at Flagler College, I took various production classes. In one of these courses, the professor had asked us to edit a new movie trailer using Premiere Pro. I chose Raiders Of The Lost Ark. I gained access to the whole movie which allowed me to take small clips and form a 90 second movie trailer.
Short Film: The Switch Up
A group of students and I were asked to create a short film that practiced continuity. In film this means to make each shot feel fluid and consistent to the audience. When editing the clips together, it should feel as if each shot was at the same time and place. The Switch Up is about a college student getting robbed without his acknowledgment. I helped create the storyboard and in post production all students were asked to create a rough cut of the short film. This was my edit of The Switch Up done with Avid.
Short Documentary: Laura Walker The Dockhand
I was asked to create a short documentary over an individual that has an interesting story. This project was created to practice in-person interviewing to help tell a captivating story. I happened to know Laura Walker that moved from Virginia to Florida for school and began working as a dockhand. I wanted to highlight the struggles of being a female working in the boating industry and how she had to adjust from living in a land locked state to working on the water. I had to schedule an interview and go to Catspaw Marina to capture footage. I used an HXR-NX100 camera and used Premiere Pro to complete editing.
